My Photo Journal from France

My Photo Journal from France

My photo journal from France.  It seems the word Love and France have almost become synonymous.  There are very few words in the English language and the world for that matter that elicit so much emotion when spoken as does the word, France.

I have always loved to travel and I have been very grateful and blessed to have been able to spend a lot of time in France.  I’ve always loved to travel to see how the world is actually such a very small place and we are all so similar.  You don’t realize this until you get out of America and see the world.  It’s been an eye opening experience for us.

My photo journal from France – In America I have found that we have become addicted to the rat race.  I know this all too much as I was part of corporate America for too many years. In France, I was impressed at how the French people know how to live, they know the essence of dining with family and friends and truly how to enjoy life. I felt so alive, so invigorated, so relaxed.  It was an amazing experience!

In America it is such a sharp contrast.  Yesterday, I was in a lunch meeting with a friend and we were surprised at how fast the waitress wheeled us into the booth, pushed to get our order and before we even finished eating dropped the bill and tried to wheel us out.  Digestion hadn’t even begun yet and felt I had to get back into my car, jump on the 405 freeway and fight the insanity of traffic that the 405 has become.  It was all too surreal.

My photo journal from France – That whole experience I just described will seem so absurd to you once you go to France.  When in France, one of the favorite things I love to do is to take scenic drives to discover the tiny towns in the South, the area known as Provence.  I love to spend incredible times with the amazing scenery, street markets and scents and the awesome vineyards and gardens and dining at incredible small restaurants.  Last but not least, don’t forget the amazing art and architecture.  It’s all so inspiring and uplifting.

I will always treasure my experiences from France.  I hope you enjoy my photo journal.  Here are a few photos from our last trip.

Love & Miracles
