Do You Believe In Love?
Do YOU Believe in Love?
Do YOU Believe in Love? We are on a wonderful and adventurous journey. Love is the essence of being human: the heart of the matter. Learning how to love unselfishly and unconditionally is the major part of our journey. If you look at the world today, 99% of the problems would be solved if people just knew how to love.
Do YOU Believe in Love? If people could forgive, love could do it’s work. Forgiveness is the transformative quality that truly changes the world. When you love someone, and I’m talking really loving someone, you forgive them.
When you love someone, what are the things in that connection? What makes this work in your relationship? For better or worse. What makes sense in this relationship? The answer… Love. You may not be able to put your finger on it but it is an internal gut feeling or knowingness.
More importantly, Love reminds us how important our personal commitments are. Love is our commitment to someone else – those who are important in our lives: people who make our life meaningful. In many instances without that, I feel our life can be meaningless and without direction. Having people in our lives that we’re committed to and who are committed to us are like road signs on our journey.
The beautiful thing is we are also road signs for them as we journey together on the path to become whole and complete. When life gives you challenges love reminds us to realize love is the essential part of our journey. It is the core.
Do YOU Believe in Love? Sometimes love is hard to believe until you see it. Love is about being willing to sacrifice, to make sacred. Love lifts you up to a completely different place. Ghandi proved this is to the entire world and is one of the greatest examples of the power of love. The British gave him violence and he answered with love. There are those who don’t love us, but what we do is we acknowledge and accept them. We still love them and that love is what changes them.
Do YOU Believe in Love? In the end, ultimately we learn… Love is all there is.
