Love Street - Are you looking for Love and Joy?  I know I have spent many years of my life wandering down dead end streets.  I’ve searched high and low to no avail.  Then… it finally hit me.

You can go down many streets in life – some pick hatred – others choose negativity. But after all my travels I have found the best place to live is on Love Street.  Not to mention I have the best neighbors in the world – Mr. and Mrs. Gratitude and along with Mr. Giver and Mrs. Sharer.  I found I could no longer live next to Mr. and Mrs. Taker.  But first I had to decide, I had to make the choice of what I wanted in my life.  And when I did… Oh my God, things really did change in my life.  After all, I took control of my life and thusly I have the responsibility of those choices.  No one else does.  Believe me, this shocked me as much as it probably is shocking you to read it, but follow me here.

There were no more excuses, no one to blame anymore.  Wow!  What a concept.  It was such a liberating experience  #MeanIt.  It was exciting, fun and scary all at once.  No matter what, I was determined to as Michael Jackson sang, “Make that Change.”  Now, I had truly defined myself and created my new world in which I could expand and grow.

I learned that if I wanted Love in my live, I had to take and I had to make the first step.  Love is not just going to show up at your front door.  I truly feel one has to give love with no attachments or expectations.  Some people think Love is going to jump into your life in this crazy negative world that we live in today.  The reality is… You have to do the work and when you do the work, I discovered that the Love is within you.  It always has been and it always will be.  Love is a choice you make on a constant daily basis.  Honestly, I feel that in every situation in your life and I found this in mine, good or bad or indifferent, you and only YOU have the choice to choose Love.
